Shiatsu, a Japanese form of massage, uses thumb and finger pressure on
special points in the body to improve circulation, relieve stress, and
more. This massager from HoMedics simulates the deep kneading pressure
of shiatsu through two mechanical ‘thumbs,’ which rotate rhythmically
at the flip of a switch in either an inward or outward motion. Angled

Review: This massager is way better than I'd even
hoped! I bought is a gift, but after a couple nights of marathon christmas
wrapping I decided to try it out on myself. Needless to say - the intended
recipient has not received it.
It's easy to use on your back by yourself - just prop up pillows and lean
back according to how much pressure you desire.
I've had a spasmed muscle forever. This is the best it's felt in years!
Review: I bought Homedics Massager SM-100 for my
husband, but have found myself "borrowing" it daily. It's just
like having someone work steadily on your back. Just set it against the
back of your couch and relax. It works so well that I've found myself
using it nightly and falling asleep with it at times.
Review: If you carry all your stress in your neck
and shoulders this is definately something you want. I usually buy stuff
like this and use it for a week, but I use this massager everyday for
months now! It's gotten rid of all my stress headaches!
Review: While its true that the "thumbs"
are a to far apart, the massager still works great. You have to take some
time to get it positioned corectly but it does give quite a good rub.
It does slow down a bit when force is applied but it doesn't seem to impact
the quality of the massage. I'm very happy I purchased it!
